A hospitality girl at heart, and a photographer with a deep love for helping businesses show up at their best.
I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for most of my life—on the floor, in the kitchen, and everywhere in between. And I run my own small business, so I deeply understand the heart and hustle behind building something from the ground up. Whether you're serving tables or scaling a brand, I’m endlessly inspired by people who care deeply about their work.
I know firsthand the kind of energy it takes to keep things running, and how little time that leaves for social media and content creation.
That’s why I’ve made it my mission to support the people behind the brands —whether that’s plates and pours, or products and services.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me baking something sweet or reading a good book. I LOVE to travel, unwinding with an unnecessarily complicated board game, and arts and crafts :)
A few fun facts:
• I have four dogs—two German Shepherds, a Husky, and a Shepherd-Husky mix
• I’m a certified Pilates instructor
• Favorite desserts: key lime pie, chocolate chip cookies, anything Oreo… but the ultimate combo? Strawberries and Nutella
• I love a good beach walk and have a growing sea glass + pottery collection
• I paint landscapes in my free time
• I collect miniatures and little trinkets
• Mountains > beach (sorry, not sorry)
Why I Do What I Do…
I have a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity. At 16, I picked what felt like a smart, stable path—I was into computers, video games, and tech, so it made sense. But once I landed an internship in the field, I realized I was already burnt out… and I hadn’t even started yet.
I’ve always had this nagging sense that I was meant to build something of my own. I was constantly dreaming up business ideas. And I couldn’t shake how much I loved photography. I wanted new gear, wanted to shoot more… When I combined it with my love for business, Mallory West Media was born.
I spent years quietly building, learning everything I could in between other jobs, never fully letting go of the dream. Now I get to work with people who are just as passionate about what they do—hospitality folks, service providers, product-based businesses—and help them show up with confidence and clarity. I’m doing the work I was meant for.
